THE CHALLENGE

Take a dated pack design and bring it in to the modern video game age.

THE SOLUTION

It was decided to keep similar elements to the old design as it was iconic but to make it feel more PS4 than 1980’s Atari. For this a new robot was commissioned and 3D rendered along with more realistic looking snacks. A more dynamic and contemporary sci-fi typeface was chosen for the brand name to complete the design.

THE CHALLENGE

Sell the product benefits in an engaging way to appeal to the target market. Something the previous pack design failed to do.

THE SOLUTION

A simple play on the product being heavenly and not a sin was all that was needed.

THE CHALLENGE

With the pork scratchings market growing with more premium offerings, Mr Porky looked to make inroads into this market with a hand-cooked product.

THE SOLUTION

A pack design featuring grease-proof paper, tied with string, conveyed the hand-cooked message. It also linked to the history of the product, harking back to pork scratchings purchases, traditionally made at the butchers. . This gave the pack a premium artisan look appealing to the target market.  A development of the Mr Porky logo was also created with a pig tail twist.
